When we are more relaxed in our bodies, we are more relaxed about our Selves. When we are anxious and fearful, our bodies tighten, our hearts race, and our system goes into flight-fright-or freeze. Some of us live in this state and our bodies pay a big price as they work overtime to cope with this trauma. The nurturing bodywork I give targets the central nervous system; my goal is to bring clients into a deeply relaxed state of being. My approach is integrative as I incorporate gentle passive joint manipulation, myo-facial release, sensory repatterining, cranial-sacral unwinding, as well as Swedish circulatory and Deep Tissue into my work. This combination of modalities allows me to do deep work without bringing any pain to a body that is already under duress. As a licensed mental health counselor, I practice massage with the knowledge that bodywork can influence and improve emotional as well as physical states of being. In a relaxed physiological state, you recognize what feels soothing and how slight changes within the body can make such a big difference to your state of mind.

I always invite feedback both during and after your massage. My bodywork is created based on the needs of my clients in that moment.
